Upon your arrival, you have received a welcome email with the username and password for your printing account. Be sure to find those, as you'll need them for the installation.
Mac OS
- First things first. You'll need a driver for your Mac. Go to www.konicaminolta.eu/eu-en/support/download-centre and search for the corresponding product depending on your primary spot: Â
- 'bizhub C227' (The View and Factory 2.0)Â
- 'bizhub C224e' (The Space)
- 'bizhub C250i' (Greenhouse)
In case you cannot find the right drivers for your OS - try searching the list of one of the other printer models.
You just need one driver across all floors - so yeah, you can use every printer in the coworking.Â
- Install the driver as any other DMG package. Please note that the installation wonât start automatically after the DMG image is mounted. The DMG package will install a removable disk in the Finder. You have to open the removable disk and double-click the .pkg file to install the printer drivers.
- Go to 'System Preferences' and choose 'Print & Scan'. For newer versions like MacOS Ventura 13 you need to go to 'System Settings' and scroll down to 'Printers & Scanners'.
- Start adding a new printer by clicking on the '+' below the list of available devices. For newer versions like Mac OS Ventura 13 you need to click on 'Add Printer, Scanner or Fax...'
- Click on the IP tab and enter 'Address' your_username@10.91.10.99. For example, if your username is 'puzl' - then the 'Address' should be puzl@10.91.10.99.
- For 'Type' choose 'Line Printer Daemon - LPD' in the 'Protocol' field.
- In the 'Queue' field - type 'secure' (no quotes) for secure printing or leave blank for default queue.
- For 'Name' type 'Puzl Printer' for example.
- 'Location' is optional, so you can leave it blank.
- For 'Use' choose 'Select softwareâŠ' option, select 'KONICA MINOLTA C224e PS' or 'KONICA MINOLTA C227 PS' from the list of available printer drivers (the latter being the functioning option for newer OS). Click OK.
- Click 'Add' and if a second window appears - leave all fields as they are and click OK. Now the printer is ready for use.
Mac OS X Â (everything before Sierra / 10.12)
